This past Sunday Freddy and Susan Wyatt were with us at The Gallery Church. Freddy taught for me while I was away attending my sister-in-laws wedding celebration. Freddy is currently the Young Adult/ Teaching Pastor at a church in Tennessee, where he has been for the last couple of years. Prior to that he and Susan helped launch The Point Church in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Since their time in New Jersey we have been talking about working together someday. Over the last couple years Freddy and I have spent a lot of time praying and talking together about what it would look like for us to work together. Over the last few months there has been more and more clarity as to what that might look like. So...in early October Freddy, Susan and their son Jack will be moving to NYC to partner with and work with The Gallery Church. Freddy's role with us will be clarified over the coming days and will be shared with the church when all of the details are worked out. Please pray for them as they make this transition.
Here are a few ways you can pray specifically:
1) Susan-- Susan is pregnant with twins and will be due in December. Pray for her health during the transition time.
2) Logistics- there are a lot of details that they have to work out in Tennessee before moving to the city (house, finishing out their role at their church, etc).
3) Finances- They will be raising a large majority of their support for the first few years of their time in NYC. Pray that God would provide for them in unexpected ways.
We are looking forward to Freddy and Susan joining with us soon. I will keep you posted as the details firm up for their move to NYC.
